What does contraindications and indications mean? 

 

Contraindications are signs and symptoms that are present which prevent you from doing  a specific treatment. Indications are signs/symptoms that suggest you should part take in the treatment.

Do we take insurance?

 

Yes , we do accept insurance. You can also pay with a  Health Savings Account (HSA). Unfortunately, many providers do not cover Athletic Trainer’s services. Contact your insurance provider to see if they cover Athletic trainer’s service.​

 

What is the difference between a Physical Therapist (PT) and an Athletic Trainer (AT)?

 

A Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainers are certified healthcare professionals who are knowledgeable in rehabilitation services that both treat and diagnose injuries. The main difference is that AT’s work under a physician’s supervision. They specifically work with athletes and physically active individuals, and have additional knowledge in first aid and emergency response. PT’s work with all  people.
